Found Projects is an architecture and design studio founded and led by Miaojie Ted Zhang and Veronica Smith. The studio works across public spaces, cultural interiors, residential projects, landscape interventions, and small civic structures in the United States and China. Its work explores how site, structure, material, construction, and everyday use can shape clear and precise architecture. Through focused design, Found Projects seeks to create meaningful spatial, cultural, and public value at multiple scales and contexts.
Miaojie Ted Zhang, AIA is the founder and principal of Found Projects. He is a licensed architect in California and New York and holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor of Structural Engineering from Tongji University. His work focuses on architecture’s relationship to structure, context, culture, and daily life.
